Kedah Malaysia #3

Agarwood Chips

Agarwood, known locally as gaharu and internationally as oud, is a naturally formed aromatic wood valued for its distinctive fragrance and resinous character.

Our agarwood is sourced primarily from Kedah in northern Peninsular Malaysia, through our close relationships with local village harvesters.
These are wild-harvested, naturally resinous pieces, selected according to a combination of characteristics including resin content, density, colour, aroma, oil content, appearance and origin.

When burned, Malaysian agarwood can reveal layers of woody depth, gentle smokiness and natural sweetness, with the character varying naturally from piece to piece
